About Vanessa

Hi there! I'm Vanessa, a fun-loving young adult hoping to share some love with the children of my community. These days, outside of school or family, it's hard for children to interact with caring adults who have their best interests at heart - I'd like to be a part of bringing back the 'it takes a village' mentality of childcare. I have experience working with children in both one-on-one as well as group settings. I am a firm believer in a kindess-first approach to caregiving. While boundaries are important, patience and understanding come first! I have worked as a tutor and can assist with various subjects, but with a specific focus on mathematics, english, and foreign language (French, Italian, Spanish).
