Hello! My name is Vanessa and I am 23 years old. This upcoming spring semester, I am student teaching from Carroll University. I am majoring in Special/Elementary Education! All my life I knew I was destined to work with children. I had the great opportunity to be a cabin counselor at a summer camp for 2 years and being a special education aide in 2020. As of right now, I am working with the Waukesha YMCA for a before and after school program. I grew up taking care of my siblings since they were little babies (now they're 13 & 11) and from time to time, I'll help take care of my niece (6 months old); I really enjoy looking after kids, helping them out with schoolwork and making sure they are having them best time.
