Hi! My name is Vanessa and I am an experienced nanny and babysitter from Oakland, CA and planning to move to NYC. I was a mother's helper in middle school and began babysitting around the age of 13. I babysat at least twice a month through all of high school, usually kids aged 2-6. I nannied in Summer 2020, 40 hours a week for three boys ages 7-9. We frequently went on walks, to parks, and sometimes drove to places around the Bay Area. I then nannied summer of 2021 for two kids ages 8 and 12. I drove the kids to and from activities, did laundry, prepared food, and of course played tons of games. Fall of 2024, I have been sitting 2-4 yr olds for various families and have loved more experience with toddlers! I also have experience as a math, Spanish and English tutor and am glad to help with school work.

Vanessa is by far one of the best babysitters we have used. We have 3 boys ages 3-15 who she engages with and cares for exceptionally well. My boys often bring her up in conversations and share how much fun they have when she’s here. They frequently ask us “When’s your next date!?” in hopes to see her again. I trust her judgment and that she will keep my children safe and cared for. Highly recommend her.
