An intellectual at heart, I live in constant pursuit of knowledge and have over a decade of mentorship and instruction experience. In fact, I am currently studying independently to pass the universal bar exam, next I plan to pursue a Doctorate in English. I was born with pen in hand as they say, and have been published and awarded for my contributions to literature and tour the slam poetry circuit as often as possible. Quite the performer, I am also a multi-instrumentalist musician of 16 years with classical orchestral and symphonic training including a broad applicable range of disciplines, styles, and influences. Big picture taker, experienced risk calculator, and passionate revolutionary, I believe in the pursuit of happiness and daring to dream with eyes wide open. I have one goal in mind, to inspire innovators and visionaries out of the next generation of beautiful minds.

Vanessa tutored my daughter on the piano and it was something that she looked forward to each week. I really appreciated how she tailored the lessons to what we were going for--just to have fun and learn vice serious, regimented sessions. I would recommend.
