Hello! My name is Vanesa , I was born and raised here in Denver. I have a big heart for the elderly and have studied and worked in the medical field for a while. I have cared for close members in our family and for other people's families as well. I've done work in hospitals, clinics, and in home care jobs. I have been a CNA for 9 years and MA for 6 years. I have experienced work in different areas from long term to hospice care. I truly enjoy helping families with those whom they love the most that need companionship and help in daily activities or needs. I am a very flexible and dependable person and can adapt anything the family needs. My goal as a care giver is to engage with my client and be a friend who can have conversations with and enjoy time together. I have also done light housework, taking walks, done vitals, and have supported end of life care. Vanesa was so great! She really helped my mom and she really knows her stuff. She has a great attitude, warm and engaging but also respectful when dealing with personal body care. And she cooked my mom's lunch so fast (and good) I couldn't believe it. Every time she was doing something it was done well and quickly and cheerfully. And when she showered my mom, after the cleanup, our bathroom was spotless, I never expect anyone to put things back exactly etc, when they are focused on the healthcare, but it was just perfect. Mom felt really comfortable with Vanesa. And I appreciated all the small but important ways she showed me how to take better care of Mom, because she cares.
