About Valerie

I have been working with children for many years. Throughout middle and high school, I volunteered in my church nursery with children newborn through age 2. And for three years, I was a nanny for an 8-year-old boy. I have also had many experiences in college to work with a variety of ages including elementary, middle, and high school students. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including educational games, board games, and doing creative crafts. I am also a skilled swimmer, as I played water polo in high school, and would love to teach to your children how to swim. I was a lifeguard at a public pool in high school where I lifeguarded and taught swim lessons to children. In addition to my experience, I will hold a college degree in middle/high school science education in May of 2025. Along with my degree, I hold a Mental Heath First Aid certification. I am fun, friendly, and patient which are qualities that make me a fantastic childcare worker.
