About Valerie

I'm a mother, wife, coffee lover, and book reader! BUT, my favorite thing to do is connect with children and their families. I began caring for kids as an Elementary School Teacher! I find ways to be creative, energetic, and FUN! I believe a positive impact on our children's lives, starts with how we can support their families. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules, as I have had managed classrooms, childcare settings, and my own home! I have always enjoyed communicating with parents about questions, concerns, or merely sharing a funny story about their child's day. I enjoy being outdoors and playing sports, but also staying indoors to enjoy puzzles or board games. All the while creating an atmosphere of support, patience, and love. I have experience with early childhood development, am First Aid & CPR Certified, and am willing to cook, clean, and travel! I currently work in a Child Care Center but it would be an honor to have the opportunity to care for your family!
