About Valerie

Hello! My name is Valerie. I am 24 years old and a first generation Mexican-American with a degree in Business Marketing. I just moved back to Vegas from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have been working with children since I was in high school. At 16 years old I began working with elementary schoolers that needed help with English comprehension and general schooling as a tutor to ESL (English Second Language) children. My mother works with children in need of ESL tutoring and it only made sense to help! It brings me great joy to help families care for their children and give parents the time they need to take care of themselves. Additionally, I have also been a dog sitter for about 2 years. I have taken care of large and small dogs alike. If you have dogs with medical issues I do have experience taking care of dogs with a variety of problems (like cataracts and diabetes) and administered the proper medication as needed, including insulin.
