About Valerie

I've worked for private families and at childcare centers for many years. I'm available on short notice most of the time. I love playing with children and making sure they are safe and engaged in wholesome activities that challenge them and inspire imagination and creativity. I do not like to see children sitting in front of the TV all day. They should be active, not passive, for most of the day. I will prepare meals, read, do crafts and supervise outdoors. I don't mind light housekeeping. I respect parental rules and requests and want to interact with parents about the child's needs and limitations. I take the responsibility of child care very seriously and am more attentive than the average younger babysitter.
