I have worked with children of all ages and abilities. I spent 3 years in an in-home environment with a child with ASD. I provide teaching, daily OT and nurturing. I find joy in accomplishing everyday tasks and reaching goals. I have done feeding, occupational, sensory and physical therapy at home to fill in for days that the child is not in therapy. My next family I spent 3 years working with a wonderful little guy with cerebral palsy. He was wheelchair bound and was on a feeding tube, so I became very comfortable with those feedings and working with different types of therapy equipment. I also worked with him on speech, OT, feeding and physical therapy homework. I also did many overnights with him. My latest family I have been with for 7 years and have loved every minute of it. The oldest child has been diagnosed with autism level 1. They also have another child that has been in my care since birth. I also am highly organized and dependable, willing to jump in wherever needed.
