About Valerie

I am a 23-year-old caregiver with 6 years of experience, having worked March 2015 - February 2021. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of caring for 13 wonderful elderly individuals and supporting them in their daily lives. I have considerable experience in caregiving, particularly with those who have dementia, diabetes, hospice care needs, and paraplegia. I am genuinely passionate about helping others and strive to treat each individual with respect, compassion, patience, love, and kindness. I approach care plans and restrictions with careful attention and a methodical mindset, and I adapt quickly to any lessons learned from mistakes. Additionally, I have experience working with clients who may be challenging or unpredictable, and I am adept at navigating cultural boundaries to provide respectful and effective care.
