About Valerie

I am an outgoing, calm, unflappable college student who adores kids and will be eager to bring joy and energy into your children's lives while respecting your parenting style and routines. I am organized but flexible, steady but undaunted by commotion. I have been babysitting since my early teens and also love caring for my young nephews as well as my aging grandparents. I like working with kids because I find them adorable and fascinating and always in the moment. I love sharing in their passions, whether it's construction vehicles, unicorns, lego robots or their favorite books. I also enjoy sharing my creativity with them, through shared activities and stories. I also work well with older kids, and can provide them with just the right level of respectful supervision. In my spare time, I like to produce digital art, write stories, do yoga, cook soups, take long walks, and spend time with my friends, and large and close extended family. I also love animals.
