About Valerie

Currently working as a kindergarten instructional assistant teacher I'm a nurturing and experienced caregiver who's enthusiastic about childcare and early childhood education. I've been working with children for over three years and have a passion for helping them grow and learn. I'm patient, creative, and friendly, and I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I understand the importance of communication with parents and keep them regularly updated about their child's day. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules and following the parents' lead. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm also experienced in technology-based games and apps. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I have First Aid and CPR training and have taken ECE coursework and early child development coursework.
