I am a practicing physical therapist of 18 years who has worked in outpatient and skilled nursing facilities and while I love working with the geriatric population, I also get tired of all the paperwork that comes with it especially when it takes away from time I get to spend with my patients. I'm looking into a role as a caregiver so that I can provide companionship, activities, and exercise with seniors to help allow them to remain in their homes longer rather than transition to a different setting.
