Hi! My name is Val, and I'm a third-year nursing student at DePaul University with a passion for pediatric care. Growing up as the oldest of seven siblings, I've had plenty of experience caring for children, including my younger sister who is on the autism spectrum. For the past four years, I've been working as a nursing assistant, and before that, I spent a year at a daycare center. I've also been helping family and friends babysit since I was 16. These experiences, combined with my education, have deepened my commitment to providing compassionate and attentive care to children of all ages and abilities. I recently decided to take up babysitting as I focus on my career goal of becoming a pediatric nurse.
