About Valencia

My experience caring for children began in middle school with the arrival of my first baby cousin. Since then, I have watched/cared for a set of twin cousins (age 1 year) and two nieces (ages 5 yrs and 10 months). In high school, I began babysitting for families in my area and teaching English to students aged 6-12. In undergrad, I was an active member and President of a club on campus focused on mentoring and uplifting young girls in the area. During my last year of undergrad, I nannied both full and part-time for a families in Ann Arbor. My main responsibilities were school/activity pick-up and drop-offs as well as morning and lunch preparation. I take it upon myself to leave the home tidier than when I arrived, so light housekeeping and laundry is no problem. I also have experience as a daycare teacher with Gretchen's House. Because of this, I am comfortable caring for multiple children and am well-versed in conflict resolution. Fully vaccinated.
