About Valeda

My name is Valeda and I'm a psychology and biology graduate from Western. Throughout my life I have cultivated a love of medicine and farming, and strongly believe that one of the keys to good health is the food we eat. That being said, I enjoy nurturing others through food which means I love to cook! I will also offer gourmet mushrooms to anyone who becomes under my care, straight from the mushroom farm I work at part time. More about me: I come from a family of caring, empathetic and compassionate women. Serving others, whether it's offering my assistance to those who are disabled, or acting as a companion for those who desire more connection, I do what I can where I can. I know what it's like to feel scared to depend on others for help. I just hope that I can make a difference in someone's life in a way that I would find meaningful if I was in their place.
