I am passionate about caring for children. My medical school education and residency in family medicine led me to my true calling as a caregiver. I find immense joy in nurturing children's growth and development. With over a decade of experience, I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly, and I enforce household rules with ease. My strengths include CPR and First Aid training, as well as being a certified teacher with coursework in early childhood development. I am comfortable caring for children of all ages, and I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I am also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and travel. I communicate with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise verbally at pickup. I also follow the parents' preferred communication method.

Uru was very professional and responsible. Her background as a medical doctor made me comfortable leaving her with our 10 month old with genetic abnormalities. She was very flexible and understanding of my erratic schedule. While my infant napped she taught my 3 year old her abc’s as well as sign language. She also took my older children to camp, daycare and entertained them without their ipads which is AMAZING. I could go on and on about how patient and gentle she is when it comes to childcare; it is very clear that this is a passion of hers that she finds fulfilling. I would love to hire her long term as her schedule allows.
