About Tzipora

I am an Ithaca, NY native, and recently moved to Boston. I work in Boston Public Schools, and enjoy yoga, puzzles, and ceramics in my free time. I have bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Arts & Education, a master's degree in teaching, a a dual NYS teaching certification in Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities. I have been babysitting for over 12 years, working with a wide variety of families. I have experience caring for children ages birth-11 years. In addition to babysitting, I have experience working at a preschool, a day camp (3 summers), and a residential summer program for middle-school (4 summers). When working with families, it is important to me to care for a child in a way that aligns with the family values and practices. I utilize caregiving practices based on theory and evidence from the field of child development, and I am willing to be very flexible in order to meet a family's needs.
