About Tyler

I have experience with children working at a foster care agency. My position included transporting the kids to doctor or therapy appointments, visits with their biological parents (whether supervised or unsupervised by me), recreational fun activities like going to the park, playing games, going to the library, going to youth support group meetings. I have worked at an emergency homeless shelter that serves teens age 13-17. I supervised the young people, provided meals, did laundry, checked on them throughout the night, and kept proper documentation. I taught a young kids tennis camp one summer ages 8 - 12. I ran it myself, starting them with warm-ups, then tennis drills, and fun game-time situations. I've been a substitute teacher for 5 years: Kindergarten- High School. I have cared/(babysat) children ages 3-14. I plan to get a Masters in counseling to be able to be a children's counselor in the schools.
