About Tyler

My name's Tyler, and it's a pleasure to (virtually) meet you. I'm 40, moved to Richmond from Miami to be closer to family in 2023, and work from home as a consultant. I grew up with dogs. My whole family also has dogs, so I like to think we can't help but love them. I'm naturally a nurturer and a caregiver. My mom was a teacher, and we often had the class guinea pig/gerbil/goldfish/snake/cat at the house as well. I'm comfortable with all animals. I volunteered at shelters while I was in school in North Carolina, and currently pet-sit for my busy and oft-traveling friends: I've never met a pet I don't like or that doesn't warm up to me, no matter how shy. I grew up a Navy brat and manage both people and businesses for a living- I am a firm believer in treating people, animals, and their homes with respect and dignity. Your house, your rules. I'm also open to plant-sitting, bringing in mail, puppy play-dates, the odd chore, etc. I hope to meet you and yours in the near future!
