About Tyler

I am a senior college student majoring in physical and health education. I have over 500 hours of student teaching experience in various fields including PE, health, elementary classroom curriculum, environmental science, and general music. My strengths are teaching human anatomy and physiology, health science, language arts, and environmental science with related biology. I work hard to make sure I meet students where they are at. I value the mastery of the foundations of the subject before attempting more advanced concepts. For older students, I can offer skilled assistance in career building such as perfecting a resume, writing cover letters, applying to college, and finding and applying to jobs. I will never judge a student regardless of their academic status, all that matters is that we now have time to work on it. I make sure to build relationships with students in order to best understand what I can do to help them learn and keep them motivated.
