About Tyana

Hello, parents! My name is Tyana, and I'm a proud graduate of Winston-Salem State University. Caring for children has been a big part of my life since I was a preteen, starting with helping care for my younger brother when he was born. Over the years, I've gained valuable hands-on experience working with children of different ages and abilities. From 2021 to 2022, I worked in ABA therapy, supporting children on the autism spectrum, both verbal and nonverbal. This experience taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of personalized care. In addition to my childcare background, I was actively involved in cheer workshops through my college cheer program, working with kids ages 6-13, which gave me the opportunity to mentor, encourage teamwork, and build lasting bonds with children through positive reinforcement and fun activities. I genuinely love working with children, serving as a mentor, and helping them grow into confident individuals!
