Hi! My name is True. I am a college educated, nonsmoking, single female with no children with great flexibility as to working hours. I am employed as an Instructional Assistant at Haverford High School. I started working for the school district in October 2019 after working in a similar position at the Stone Hurst Hills Elementary School in Upper Darby for over six years. Since I work for a school district, I have the mandated clearances, along with training in first aid and CPR. Prior to that, I worked with toddlers (ages 1-3) as a Language Arts specialist, at Kinderworks Daycare located in Colmar, PA. I worked primarily with preschool and elementary children but also have experience working with children on the autistic spectrum and other educational diagnoses. I live in Drexel Hill and have reliable transportation. I have been vaccinated since March 2021 and I am Covid conscious. I'm currently searching for a summer employment. My husband and I hired True to care for our energetic, 1 year old son. It was a short term hire (6 weeks) only because we were traveling and limited by our travel dates. Otherwise, we would have loved to continue with her! True is experience, creative, and attentive to both the child's needs and parents preferences. I keep screen time to a minimum, and True brought crafts, books and toys to engage with our son. I appreciated that she gave me a very thorough run-down of what happened during the day, and I also noticed that if she was with my son she focused her attention on him and did not spend time with her phone, which is great. All of her references spoke very highly of her, and I couldn't agree more! If you have the chance to hire her, you can be assured you've hired someone who will care well for you child/children.
