About Tristen

I have worked with young children in various settings over the past 10 years. This includes babysitting, nannying, and teaching positions in special needs programs and preschools. I received my degree from Springfield College in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies with a concentration in Child Development. After moving to Colorado in 2014 I accepted a position at an Early Learning Center where I taught for 2 years in a toddler classroom. I then held a teaching position at the Rise School of Denver, where I taught in an inclusive classroom for children with and without special needs. For the past two years I have nannied my nieces (now almost 2yrs and 4yrs old). Alongside child care I manage household tasks and implement tailored organizational strategies and systems. Laundry, meal prep, and errand running to name a few. I absolutely love working with kiddos, and until I have my own someday I love having opportunities to help other growing families thrive.
