My experience with caregiving began at a young age, as I grew up living with my grandparents. I was actively involved in helping around the house, from tasks like cleaning and grocery shopping to assisting with daily chores. This early involvement gave me a strong understanding of the significance of providing thoughtful support to those who need it. Over the years, this respect for caregivers has grown as I witnessed firsthand the positive impact of compassionate care. At the age of 9 or 10, I began volunteering at my mom's workplace, where she worked in a healthcare setting. I had the opportunity to assist with recreational services, passing out desserts, playing simple games, and engaging in activities such as puzzles, board games, and art sessions. This experience not only introduced me to the joy of creating meaningful moments for others but also emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for fun and connection for individuals who might not have access to them.
