About Trista

Hi! I am a Teaching Math major at UMD. I will be going into my final semester and student teaching this spring. With my college classes and my 7 years of tutoring experience rest assured that I can and will be able to help you kids through their math. I hold 2 beliefs that have yet to be proven wrong. The first is that Math can be fun! I know if you are searching for a helping hand you have more than likely had your fair share of frustration and hair pulling filled nights surrounding math homework around your kitchen table. I know I sure have but it can be so much better and I can definitely make that happen. My second belief is that math is for everyone! I hear the scoff but remember that I haven't been proven wrong yet. Everyones brain thinks a little bit differently and that difference is what make people unique. I can work with your unique thought processes and qualities to explain and explore the mathematics in a way that works for you guaranteed!
