About Trista

Almost every job that I've held has involved working with children. I've worked with kids in many capacities. For about two years, I worked as a camp counselor with kids as young as 5 up to middle school ages. Additionally, I worked as a party host for children's birthday's and other events. For the past four years, I've been working with individuals with special needs or disabilities. I've worked with younger children, middle school and high school-aged youth. I've worked in summer camp, schools, and recreational environments. I have had experience caring for children with autism, Down syndrome, mood disorders, behavioral issues, and other developmental disorders. In my job, I've performed personal care services, respite services, inclusion services, have had experience with children with seizure disorders, children who are non-verbal, and overall, children of varying functional abilities. Through my work, I've learned that everyone, regardless, of age, disability, etc. has something.
