Hello! I have 11 years experience doing In Home Healthcare. I have 9+ years with Senior care and 2 years with a man that's a quadriplegic. My experience includes: medication management, over night stay, companionship, housekeeping, running errands, transporting to Dr.'s appts, meal prep, feeding, toileting, bathing/showering, taking and helping client get involved in hobbies they enjoy, helping them find volunteering opportunities in their community or doing fun things like mall walking, art classes or going to the movies, to name a few. I am also experienced in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy needs and enjoy helping my client do daily exercises to help them feel their very best. I have extensive experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia and stroke patients as well. I am a super happy outgoing person that treats my clients as if they were my own family member. It would be impossible to overstate what Trish has meant to our family and the impeccable way she has cared for my father. He has dementia and can be very difficult. Trish has been the only care giver who can deal with him in a way that he is happy and content. He loves her. Trish is very pro-active and a hard worker. She would be on her feet the whole time she is with dad if she wasn’t so committed to talking w him (listening to him talk) and willing to watch movies after he asks. I have owned businesses for 40 years, and had about 1000 employees in that time. I think Trish is probably the best person I ever worked with. She’s not only our employee…she’s like one of the family. Dad broke his leg at our house two months ago and can no longer walk. He is in a care home now, but dad (we) can’t let go of Trish. She has agreed to see him periodically at the care home. Thank you Trish…for everything.
