Hello! I'm Trisha and I'm very passionate about teaching reading and spelling to kids with dyslexia! I use the Orton-Gillingham influenced Barton Reading and Spelling System. The goal will be to get them caught up ASAP but without the frustration they've experienced with teaching methods that were not developed for dyslexia. My daughter is dyslexic too, so I understand how difficult it can be for kids as they realize they aren't keeping up with their peers. I will always be as patient and compassionate with your child as I was with mine. I also understand how hard it is as a parent to see your child struggle and not be able to get the help they need from their school.
