I am a 58-year-old mother of two (daughter, 22 son, 19). I moved to Ocala in July and am now looking for permanent employment. I enjoy working with adults, seniors, children and animals. I love them all and would love to help you with care. I worked at ResCare in Newton, Kansas for a year. I passed a Level 2 background check and CPR certification. At ResCare I worked with adults with physical and/or mental disabilities. I am a happy, upbeat person who will keep your loved one safe, give them loving care and companionship. I have many years experience raising my own children and caring for the children of numerous friends over the years and I have experience with adults and elderly from my time at ResCare. Tricia has been an amazing caregiver for our son with special needs. She really got to know him and did her best to get his interests to branch out into other activities. She would take him for walks, go outside and play, spend time with him inside reading books and watching his favorite shows. She would get on the floor with him and do some exercises. Tricia also worked with him on learning to slow down while eating and feeding himself. My family is moving out of state or we would keep Tricia with us forever. I hope someone really great hires her because she will become part of the family and love your kids like they were her own. The family who gets to work with Tricia will be a lucky one, indeed! We will miss her!
