About Travis

My name is Travis, I have a Ph. D. in Cellular Biology (December 2023). I am 33 and enjoy tutoring/teaching and have substantial experience. I have served as a TA for two graduate level courses; mentored 14 undergraduate and high school student during my doctoral career; and taking a formal training course in pedagogy (teaching). I also have worked as math tutor at my community college (1 year); worked for a tutoring business (1 yr); and private tutoring (7 yrs). Courses and Fluencies: Math (Arithmetic through Calc 2, Stats); Biology (Most Biology courses, AP Biology, Cell, Molecular, Structural, Micro, Immuno, Genetics, Genomics, Biochem 1/2, and misc Labs); Chemistry (Intro Chem - Gen Chem); Writing (Scientific Manuscripts, Grant Proposals, Proofreading); Data Analysis and Processing. Also skilled in carpentry and plumbing from my previous construction job!
