I have always had a special place in my heart for special people. While in junior college I volunteered for Blue Skies helping handicapped children learn how to ride horses. I was one of the lucky ones chosen to have a special needs child myself. My oldest daughter was born deaf and wears hearing aids. I also have a niece who has Down syndrome. In our family, we truly believe God only gives these special people to special parents. I feel blessed! I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in children. I have the education and experience not to mention passion for this position!
