Hello. My name is Traci, I have babysat for about 35+ years, from newborn to about 14 years of age. I have worked 4-5 years in the rehabilitation field for a company, working with behavioral adolescents, autism, down syndrome and other areas. I live in Derry, have a car. and very flexible. I enjoy playing board games, doing crafts, jigsaw puzzles, LEGOS, singing, dancing, reading, and educational games. I also enjoy going outside, baking, and everything Disney. I encourage learning and imagination. Through Care. com, I have worked with an autistic child for 5 years, from ages 7-12, until they moved, a position with a special needs teen, 2 young children, ages 2 and 4, and have references from these. I also have 2 current part-time positions. I've been social distancing, only grocery shopping, and always wear a mask. I am CPR/First Aid Certified, passed background checks, & comfortable with pets. Traci was a care giver for my son P. who has Down’s syndrome. P. required full time care. Traci would get him off the bus, brought him for walks, weather permitting, and read and played games with him. During Traci’s tenure with P., he developed a new fascination with building blocks and Lincoln logs. Traci was incredibly dependable, always on time, always following any special instructions if P. was taking medication for his respiratory issues. He was and is extremely fond of Traci and would always hold the door open when she would leave at the end of the day. He references her name often. We were nothing but pleased by Traci’s dependability, gentleness and devotion to P. We would hire her again if there was a need.
