About Tori

Hi! My name is Tori. I'm a 29-year-old sitter and full-time employee in tech. I started off in childcare quite early on as my younger brother (now an adult) has special needs and requires frequent supervision. I've cared for families with children pre-K through 10th grade of up to 5 at a time (part-time & full-time). CPR/First Aid/Epi Pen/Swim trained. While parents are away, I respect their expressed parenting philosophy from a role of another trusted adult in the children's lives - e. g. observing bedtimes, dietary preferences and timing/amounts, redirecting and explaining the impact of our behaviors & choices, breathing when distressed, etc. I help families with other tasks such as light pick-up, dishes, meal preparation, and homework help. When I'm with your children, I aim to provide them a safe and fun environment. I enjoy playing age-appropriate games and activities, group play, as well as approved and supervised visits in town to the park, etc.
