About Topeka

Hello, I have more than 5 years of experience working with kids in the elementary to high school setting. I have worked as a substitute and as a Title I teacher's assistant for Dekalb County School District. I love working with and helping kids. I also have 24 years of caregiver experience where I took care of my mom who was a renal patient. I took her to her doctor's appointments as well as drove her to dialysis 3 x's a week. I picked up her meds, took her grocery shopping and did things for her around the house that she wasn't able to do. She was mobile and was able to do all of her own self care and cooking. I am a proud dog mom of a 5 y. o. pitbull named Calmer. She is the sweetest dog ever and loves people and other dogs. I have had her since she was 4 months old. I've always grown up with having a family dog and love being around dogs.
