I am currently a teacher in California looking to move to Austin, Texas. I am interested in caring for a family my first year in a new city to get a feel for the school districts. I am currently a special education teacher, assisting students with learning disabilities and emotional impairments as well as other health impairments. My past experiences have included working at a couple different foster care homes for people with Autism and cognitive impairments. I have experience with medication administration, bathing needs, cooking meals, transporting wheelchairs, and assisting in social skills training. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I am passionate about helping those with special needs feel included in society by participating in normal, everyday activities!
