About Tonya

I had 20 plus years of childcare and elderly care. I'm the oldest of 7, and my mother ran a foster care home. Therefore, I've been surrounded by children all my life. Taking care of people became my passion when my mother was diagnosed with diabetes in my teens. I had to take the responsibility of raising my younger siblings until she was strong enough. I wanted to understand more about the body and it's functions which sparked my curiosity in nursing. This is when my journey began.
