About Tonya

Most people who know me describe my personality as a positive, patient and caring. I am a former teacher who enjoys taking time to care for and nurture others. I enjoy caring for seniors because I understand how precious it can be to have someone to talk story with and assist you with your daily activities. I started caring for seniors when my grandmother who raised me became ill. I have since cared for several elderly family members as well as providing sitting service and transportation for elderly members of my community for the past 20 years. In my spare time, I like to garden and spend time outdoors. I also enjoy watching movies, and creating craft or diy projects. I take pride in spending time with elderly people, knowing that I will someday be elderly myself, and I hope someone will be kind and patient with me.
