I was a special education major before switching to the health care field and becoming a nursing major. I have worked as a personal care assistant for 6 years and have experience with a wide range of special needs. Furthermore I grew up with special needs foster children in my home and have an adopted little sister with Cerebral Palsy. I am well versed in G-tube feeding, tracheostomy tube care, augmentative communication devices, as well as the general love and patience it takes to care for someone with special needs. I vow to be a helping hand for your loved one(s) and care for them with the same love that I would give my own.
