I have experience looking after kids anywhere from 8 months to 12 years, but ages 2 to 8 is the age group I have the most experience with. I regularly babysit my 4-year-old niece, and nothing brings me more joy than when I know she is coming over. I also have experience babysitting a child from before his 2nd birthday until he was 3 and a half. I find it easy to make connections with children, and they typically form attachments to me easily. I do not believe a TV or a game should be the babysitter, because children need one on one attention to be nurtured and to grow into the confident, successful people they have the potential to be.
