As a former State of Connecticut employee with 38 years of experience in the Court Reporters' Office and a current Special Education Paraprofessional, my calm and patient nature, coupled with my creativity and friendly demeanor, makes me an ideal caregiver. I will keep parents informed about their child's day, as requested, through written daily reports and verbal communication at pickup, and I will follow their preferred communication method. I believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to household rules, and I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning with children. With one year of childcare experience, I'm comfortable caring for one child and am happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I am CPR-trained and committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. I am a mother 2 young women, 27 and 22 years old, and married 31 years to my husband.
