I provide verbal updates at pickup, send regular text or phone call updates, and always adhere to the parents' preferred communication method. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the child. My favorite games to play with children are outdoor sports and physical games that encourage activity, board games and puzzles that enhance problem-solving skills, and educational games that make learning fun.
