About Todd

Hi there. First thing you need to know: I love learning and helping people. I have more than 20 years of experience as a teacher, tutor, adult educator, and tutor trainer. My specialty is adult basic education (adult literacy, basic and high school math, all GED subjects, college readiness) but I also love working with kids and teens. I believe that learning is about the whole person. The important thing to me is seeing how what you learn helps you grow. My approach is relaxed, but not slack. I recognize the importance of meeting goals and getting results. My students tell me I'm able to explain things well. I'm also good at helping people examine their study habits and suggesting ways to improve them. I've mastered the basics in all basic subjects and I have done plenty of test prep though I prefer to make it about more than just passing the test. Thanks for reading this! I hope to hear from you.
