I have had over 15 years' experience caring for children. I have been a nanny, a preschool teacher ages ranging from infants to 5-year-olds. I have 2 boys, one in college and children are very special to me as they do not judge and accept you and have that special sense when someone or something isn't quite right and they always sense that I adore children and I myself become childlike when I am with them in a way that can relate to them without giving up any authority from myself. I enjoy laughing, singing, digging in the sand, swinging!!! I don't use the TV as a babysitter at all, use it as a learning tool. I have also assisted with the elderly, which I enjoy and extremely comfortable with animals, from lizards to birds, dogs, cats, rabbits, even pet mice and rats! Helping is what I do, what I enjoy, and I always have a smile on my face. No job too small.
