Hi! I'm an educated, mature, married woman, have my own car, have pets of my own, a flexible schedule & do this as my full-time business. I earned my American Red Cross CPR/1st Aid Certification for Dogs & Cats on 4-6-13. I have a degree from U of I (Champaign-Urbana) & a Paralegal diploma in CA. I love animals, especially house pets. I'd do everything in my power to keep yours safe, healthy & happy, in an owner's absence. My first 2 years at U of I was in Pre-Vet classes, but changed my major. While living at home years ago, I grew up raising Shelties (dogs), bred/showed champion rabbits nationally & raised finches/doves, also. My husband & I currently have 5 felines (8 months up to 14 years old). Our almost 18-year-old dog, Megan, & 16-year-old cat, Asia, had both become "special needs" (due to being geriatric), when they passed away earlier in 2013. In the same 6 month period of 2013, we lost a 4-month-old kitten, Grayson, whom we had adopted through a rescue. He had to be euthanized only 2 weeks after getting him. Sadly, no one realized at the time of adoption, that he was just starting to show symptoms of a 100% fatal kitten disease. Per our vet's recommendation, I had changed my care for an elderly dog/cat, as Megan become blind/deaf with dementia/mobility issues. And, Asia had Stomach Cancer, with more advanced medical needs, including an IV bag hanging in the bathroom. For months, I gave her treatments of fluids under the skin, every other day, to help prevent dehydration. I've previously had fresh water fish tanks, a wild Canadian goose, & a squirrel. The last 2 we released after rehabbing them. I'm Federal, State, & Multi-County background checked through FEMA & Homeland Security-which far exceeds any site screening. I'm honest, reliable, dependable & experienced. I have excellent references, even if not connected through this site-you can contact them, also. My rates are comparable to those in the area, and vary-depending on factors like: Distance/location, duties, frequency of visits, quantity & needs of pets, etc. & is fair to both parties. Services usually double as "house sitting," also. I bring in mail/papers/packages; put in/out the garbage on trash day, etc. Thank you for your consideration! I look forward to hearing from you & an opportunity to care for your cherished family pet(s).

Tina helped us tremendously by agreeing two watch our two cats last minute. One of our cats is elderly and requires oral medication administration, which is not an easy task. By using her extensive knowledge of animals and their behaviors, she was able to get his medicine in everyday! I highly recommend Tina. We feel beyond lucky to have found her!
