From a early age, ive been involved and interested in serving those in need of patient understanding care. Ive worked most levels of care. Both as a full time nanny, to part time overnight senior care. Ive been a teacher, so have varied experience in different ages and needs. One important things to me is the respect and empathy for others. Ive been told my patience is almost unbelievable. Not much bothers me and I think of myself as calm and efficient. During my secondary school years my grandmother who was blind lived with my family, I became a care giver without really thinking about it.. I continued to work as an aide throughout my college and post grad. Many of the clients I worked with then were physically disabled so ive had years of experience with varied conditions. ive Done all required to maintain a household, grocries, laundry, dr appointments, etc. along with care needs of up to three children or most recently a dementia patient in her home.
