I have 4+ years of paid experience working with special needs young and older adults. I personally have a 6-year-old daughter with heart and lung birth defects. I have worked with ADHD, seizure disorders, autism, down syndrome, medically fragile individuals, behavioral disorders, mental health to include schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder and individuals that self harm. I am a loving, calm carer who also knows how to set boundaries and does my best to understand the individual and his/her unique personality.
