I have four years experience with special needs working with my own father who had a stroke. The stroke affected his left side and left him bedridden for four years. During this time, my family and I took care of him at home which included diaper changing, peg tube feedings and working with OT, PT and speech therapy so he could try to regain what he lost. I am passionate about working with a family to help with their special needs child and am willing to learn whatever it takes to help out.
