Taking care of my grandmother for the final decade of her life was the best and hardest thing I have ever done. In that 10 years I gained valuable experience in helping with the logistics of every day living, but the most important thing I learned was that caring for another fully and without reservation benefits everyone involved. Services I can provide: Errands Transportation Light meal prep/cooking Grocery shopping Assisting with Activities of Daily Living Doctor's appointments/pharmacy pick-up Listening, conversation, and genuine interest in people and their stories My Grandmother had mild dementia, so I have exposure to the core principles of caring for those with memory loss. For pets, I am comfortable with dogs and cats and can walk, feed, cuddle, and medicate if needed. Transportation to veterinary appointments if needed.
